Help Team Kemp make a child's wish come true!

Dear Friends & Family~

As most of you know, I'm a board member for the local Make-A-Wish Foundation and have also been involved with the "Wish Kids" for many years. Our mission statement is simple... "We grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength & joy."

There are over 125 children annually that the Central Ohio Make-A-Wish Foundation works tirelessly to grant wishes for. You and I can helptheir efforts simply with our generosity. Through your generous donations, Team Kemp raised enough money (over $6000) to grant the wish of one brave child in 2008.
We have set a goal for 2009 for $6000 again. With that said, I'm sending you this note to ask for your assistance in our 2009 Walk for Wishes, taking place Saturday, August 15th.

As most of you know, I have become the proud parent of an adopted son in the past few months, so this cause has become even more personal to me. I ask you to simply stop for a moment and put yourself in the shoes of a mom/dad/uncle/aunt/grandparent/brother/sister of a young child who is struggling with an illness.I have seen the faces and talked with the kids & families returning from a granted wish. You cannot possibly inagine the joy, hope and laughter that a wish brings to an entire family... it is truly life-changing in many ways!
